Lesson 25 – First Inversion Major Chord Pattern

Reference guide for MAJOR Chords with the root in the FIFTH and located on the E-String

Major Chords starting on A-String and ending with the root on the E-String

Note: This fingering pattern can be used up and down the fretboard.  Simply locate the chord’s root note on the E-String.  

Note: This fingering pattern can be used up and down the fretboard.  Simply locate the chord’s root note on the E-String. To play a G-Major chord, place your POINTER finger on the 2nd fret of the A-string; your MIDDLE finger on the 2nd fret of the C-string; and your RING finger on the 3rd fret of the E-string.  Practice moving back and forth between chords.
